Vision Statement for Dakota Creek Christian Center and definitions

The Dakota Creek Center is committed to the advancement of the Kingdom of God and wholistic ministry by providing a community center for the purpose of meeting the needs of the community.   Isaiah 61 

1. Preach – good news to the poor

2. Bind up – the broken hearted 

3. Proclaim – freedom to the captives Release from darkness for the prisoners The year of the Lord’s favour The day of vengeance of our God 

4. Comfort – all who mourn 

5. Provide – for those who grieve 

6. Bestow – crowns of beauty, oil of gladness & garments of praise instead of despair 

7. Display – His splendour 

8. Rebuild – the ancient ruins 

9. Restore – the places long devastated 

10. Renew – the ruined cities 

11. Raise up – the former desolations 

12. Receive – a double portion 

13. Rejoice – in our inheritance and everlasting joy 

14. Love – justice, righteousness, peace and joy 

15. Praise – spring up among the nations 

16. Be priests of the Lord & ministers of our God Micah 6:8 “He has showed you, O man, what is good and what the Lord requires of you.
